Paul Durso

It is a heavy burden that is laid upon some, who must relentlessly question and seek, those who stumble yet persevere to the threshold of working with their hands in the furnace of creation. Lamp-bearers in the wilderness and wastelands who leave behind quiet songs, footfalls towards love and beauty. A soft wind blows, and another with ears to hear begins to stand.

There is a hidden face in the margins, a face that is at once wrathful and good, with heavy  eyelids in want of sleep. And in reflection upon the iris a child dances, twirling and dancing as if to a song of joy. Where did you go, gone in the being and politicization of ecstasy? I think I find meaning in the changing forms of affect, but at once I denounce them. Where did you go?

Paul Durso is a multi-disciplinary artist, and he makes Sound & Music for Stories & Places.
