Z-Plane Ladder is out now, available for purchase on CD digipak and Digital through Meaning Through Form Records, and available for streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, and other platforms. Beginning next week, CDs will be available in record stores across California.

Some background:

The first release from Meaning Through Form Records, Paul Durso’s Z-Plane Ladder is an instrumental narrative song in three acts. 

A solo guitar performance weaves and evolves through melodic and textural movements, while the song’s relational patterns bring forth a narrative form.

Building on his work as a composer for theatre and film, Paul’s performance on Z-Plane Ladder is an expression of finding abstracted story and poetry in music, and finds inspiration from the poetic mystery of Song of  Songs and Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness.

Z-Plane Ladder marks the establishment of Meaning Through Form Records, and opens the pathway of things to come.
